Dr Vivek Pratap Singh

Dr Vivek Pratap Singh, is a Project Consultant for the RATIONS Trial and oversees two districts of Jharkhand, East Singbhum and Ranchi. He has done his graduation in AYUSH stream (BAMS) from the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka and later went on to do Masters in Public Health from KLE University Belagavi.

He has been associated with the trial since its formative stage with intense involvement in terms of field work, data collection and data quality of 28 field staff that he monitors.

His past experience includes research consultant work with Family Health International (FHI-360) in the tribal and difficult to reach areas of Madhya Pradesh. He has also worked as an epidemiologist for Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike requiring extensive field work especially for the Dengue and Malaria outbreaks in the urban Bengaluru.

His interests include public health, tuberculosis, nutritional issues and health system research.
